The operational backbone of Herrin Law. Shannon brings military discipline, executive leadership, and genuine compassion to every client interaction. When a case needs a steady hand, Shannon is the person Daniel calls.
Shannon Evans didn't take the typical path into legal operations. After serving in the United States Air Force, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and went on to complete her MBA at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. That combination of military service, legal knowledge, and business acumen shapes everything she does at Herrin Law.
Before joining the firm, Shannon held executive leadership roles across law firm management, county government court administration, paralegal studies, and continuing legal education. She's worked inside indigent defense systems. She understands the legal world from the inside out, not from a textbook.
As Director of Operations, Shannon leads the firm's operational strategy. She oversees systems, workflows, and team performance to make sure every case moves forward efficiently and every client gets the level of service they deserve. She's the bridge between the attorneys doing legal work and the operational infrastructure that keeps hundreds of active cases on track.
"Everything we do has to start with a fundamental idea that you have to care about your client. Shannon lives that every single day."
Shannon is the kind of person who picks up the phone when a client is frustrated, listens until they've said everything they need to say, and then fixes the problem before the call is over. She doesn't make excuses or pass blame. She takes personal accountability.
Her military background shows in her precision and reliability. When Shannon says something will happen by Friday, it happens by Friday. When she tells a client "your case is on my radar," she means it literally. She monitors case progress with the same discipline she brought to the Air Force, and she holds every member of the team to that same standard.
Clients don't always know Shannon's name when they call, but they often end up saying some version of the same thing: "I finally feel like someone actually cares about my case." That's Shannon's work.
Shannon has seen what happens when systems fail people. In county government, in court administration, in legal aid. She chose Herrin Law because the firm's values match hers: treat every client like family, never sacrifice quality for volume, and build systems that actually work for the people they serve.
Shannon's Air Force background means your case gets tracked with precision. Nothing falls through the cracks. Every deadline, every document, every follow-up is accounted for.
When something goes wrong, Shannon doesn't make excuses. She takes personal responsibility and fixes it while you're still on the phone. Your case is always on her radar.
Shannon builds and maintains the operational systems that keep hundreds of cases moving forward. The result: faster filings, fewer delays, and clients who actually know what's happening with their case.
Shannon believes you deserve to know where your case stands at all times. She leads a team culture of proactive updates, clear timelines, and honest answers to hard questions.
With experience across law firm management, court administration, and legal education, Shannon brings executive-level thinking to every operational decision at the firm.
Shannon holds every team member to the same high standard. Every task assigned has a deadline, every commitment made gets tracked, and every client gets the follow-through they were promised.
